How Long Is Your LIFELINE?-Reality of Palmistry

Have you ever looked at the long curved line on your palm and wondered how long you are going to live? For centuries, palmistry has claimed that the lines on our hands can reveal secrets about personality, health, relationships, and even the future. But one of the most famous beliefs is also one of the most misunderstood: does the length of your “life line” actually tell you how long you will live? The answer may surprise you. The life line is the curved crease that runs around the base of the thumb. In popular culture, a short line is often interpreted as a short life and a long line as a long life. But scientific studies examining this claim have found no significant relationship between the length of the life line and a person's actual longevity.
