Description

Friends here is the recipe. preheat oven to 350 degrees 1 & 1/2 cups all purpose flour 1 cup sugar 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon vinegar 1 tablespoon vanilla 6 Tablespoons melted butter or oil 1 cup warm water or coffee NO baking powder, I don't even know why I pulled it out, just habit, I guess. now, mix all the dry, then add all the wet at one time and mix by hand. pour into prepared pan, 8 or 9 inch works best. bake for 30-35 mins, cool and enjoy For the frosting I used 2 Tablespoons soft butter 1 heaping teaspoon unsweetened cocoa a few drops of milk about 1&1/2 cups powdered sugar
