Erwin Rommel: Behind the Desert Fox Myth I SLICE HISTORY | FULL DOCUMENTARY

Erwin Rommel and the Afrika Korps became central figures in the war in North Africa. Sent to support Italian forces in 1941, Rommel led rapid offensives against the British, from Cyrenaica and Tobruk to the advance into Egypt. Alongside the military campaign, Nazi propaganda helped build Rommel’s image as the “Desert Fox.” His victories, setbacks, leadership and growing reputation shaped how he was portrayed in Germany and perceived by his British opponents.
