Description
For one day, my laptop belonged to AI agents.
I gave them one job: rebuild the 1979 arcade classic Asteroids in 3D. Plus my whole workflow. They asked me a few questions… and then I got out of their way. Three Claude agents (a builder, a QA tester and a critic) under an orchestrator built it in 5 stages and 11 attempts. They never talk to each other, every review is kept, and two stages honestly ended as "needs manual review".
Inside: rocks that break into uneven pieces instead of two equal halves, a ship that stayed dead for six minutes, 41 flying saucers that never made it across the screen, a speed test no build could pass because of the laptop itself, an alien attack at almost full volume, and the one last bug before the hand-over.
⏱ 23 hours on the clock, almost 17 hours of actual work
🔥 ~820 million tokens · ~$298 at API list prices for the build, $314 with my sound fixes (API-equivalent, not the bill)
