The Death Of Shina Rambo | Nigeria Most Dangerous Criminal

In the 1990s, one name struck absolute terror across Nigeria and West Africa: Shina Rambo. He operated with unbelievable audacity—striking in broad daylight, plowing through international borders, and outmaneuvering law enforcement at every turn. His brutal highway robberies and military-grade firepower gave rise to legends of invincibility, dark juju, and supernatural escapes. Then, he vanished. Decades after the bloodshed on the highways dried up, a man stepped into the light holding a Bible instead of an assault rifle—claiming to be Evangelist Matthew Oluwanifemi, the reformed Shina Rambo. But this sudden transformation raised an intense debate that splits public opinion to this day: Did the original bandit lord die in a police shootout in the late 1990s? Is this preacher a genuine miracle of divine redemption? Or is the pulpit the ultimate cover-up for a master criminal hiding in plain sight? In this deep-dive documentary, African Files explores the true story, the urban legends, the police investigations, and the unresolved mystery behind Nigeria's most notorious crime lord. 📌 TIMESTAMPS: 00:00 - Introduction: The Legacy of Terror 02:15 - The Rise of Shina Rambo & The 1990s Crime Wave 05:40 - Cross-Border Syndicates & Police Clashes 08:20 - The Myth vs. Reality: Juju & Invisibility Legends 11:05 - The Disappearance: Did He Die in the 90s? 13:30 - The Preacher Emerges: Evangelist Matthew 15:45 - The Unresolved Verdict: Redemption or Deception? 🔔 SUBSCRIBE TO AFRICAN FILES for more in-depth documentaries on African history, true crime, and unsolved mysteries. 👍 Enjoyed the video?
