ID Software - The COMPLETE Retrospective

ID Software's Complete Retrospective explores their different franchises with Wolfenstein, Doom, Quake, and we dive into the history, create an analysis and review each one of their games as well... We even RANKED THEM ALL! ID had humble beginnings and eventually became universally seen as one of the best FPS AAA Studios out there but there's a lot to breakdown here from the friendships that formed ID, the breakups of those friendships, or even why ID is as popular as they are today. We dive into all of it here with our retrospective on each game here with my own personal opinions added for each, give them a ranking, and give a retrospective on each game they've made all the way until Doom Eternal! Doom The Dark Ages just came out and what better way to celebrate then sit back and listen to this game studio's successes and everything that built them up to who they are today Join our Community! https://discord.gg/WcEWK7xXJS https://www.twitch.tv/appreciationculture 0:00-16:21 Chapter 1: Before Doom (Wolfenstein) 16:22-59:37 Chapter 2: Doom Changed Everything (Doom 1,2) 59:38-1:12:44 Chapter 3: The Failure of Quake 1:13:45-1:29:37 Chapter 4: The Success of Quake 1:29:38-1:54:35 Chapter 5: This isn't the Quake I used to know (Quake 2, 3) 1:54:36-2:24:48 Chapter 6: The Dark Ages (Doom 3) 2:24:49-2:32:00 Chapter 7: Ported To Mobile Devices 2:32:01-2:42:05 Chapter 8: The Low Point...
