A 1970s Ritual We All Survived (Toni & More Home Perms)

I still remember the smell of a Toni home perm filling up the house on a Saturday afternoon. If you grew up in the 1970s, one look at those plastic rods and that towel around your shoulders and it all comes rushing back. In this one I walk through the full ritual: the Toni box on the counter, the "Which Twin Has the Toni" ads, Lilt's push-button foam, Ogilvie's rods, the little white end papers, the kitchen chair where it all happened, and the smell that stuck around long after the towels were put away. Tell me in the comments who did the perms in your family, and did they ever turn out the way the box promised? 🎵 More videos you'll love: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLPKNrWeXdWlC1gAI_oNAcwSEk4vZ2ry1G ❤️ Subscribe for new videos every week: https://www.youtube.com/@WayBackAmericana?sub_confirmation=1 🤍 Snag a mug or t-shirt: https://waybackamericana.creator-spring.com 💙 Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/p/Way-Back-Americana-61569367730521/ ────────────── #1970s #HomePerm #Nostalgia #waybackamericana ────────────── DISCLAIMER: The materials in this video are intended for entertainment purposes and comply with fair use guidelines.
