Description
If you died at home, how long until your pet started eating you? In one real case: less than forty-five minutes. Eight pets that would eat you, ranked, and the only one that never would.
Goldfish eat almost anything that fits in their mouth, and in Minnesota they grew as big as a football. A giant tortoise in the Seychelles was filmed hunting a baby bird for seven minutes. Snowshoe hares in the Yukon chewed on meat, even a lynx. The closest living match to a T. rex is the chicken. In 1995, forensic scientists found that a golden hamster had stored tiny pieces of its owner in its nest. A tabby cat came back to the same body for thirty-five nights. And a German shepherd started in just forty-five minutes, right next to a full bowl of food.
Only one pet would never eat you. It can wait six months without food, and you just don't fit.

The host's own "experiments" with playing dead are just for fun. If you live alone with a pet, give a friend a spare key.
