Heidegger’s Forgotten Lectures to Psychiatrists

In this video, I’ll tell you about the seminars Heidegger gave to psychiatrists for almost ten years! This is a fairly surface-level overview, and I know these seminars deserve a much deeper dive. But right now I’m preparing a biiiiig video about Nick Land and simply don’t have enough time to make another huge video about the Zollikon Seminars. I still really wanted to talk about them, though, and I hope you’ll enjoy it! I used several videos, short films and documentaries in this video. Here are links to some of them in case you’re interested: Incredible short film about time https://youtu.be/Rs11w8b798I?si=XU2bA7GxDDgIi4xM Documentary https://youtu.be/Zax5RQS_PEU?si=3ezPVZ8jo1cUpYIs A video by Sleepy Charlie https://youtu.be/szk3EOLSSag?si=oi7EQyoseft__WHr Short film “Cope” https://youtu.be/JnXOE6FFoWA?si=79bl_g-GT5zzpKT0 Animation https://youtu.be/_i-XGVutP7Y?si=5ZGwkp3GZWUmtrU2 And: https://youtu.be/XmMyx2_4STg?si=U_gCW1j3dybvEcxw I also used fragments from the 1927 film Metropolis, directed by Fritz Lang. #Heidegger #BeingAndTime #Daseinsanalysis #Psychiatry #ContinentalPhilosophy #Phenomenology #MedardBoss #ZollikonSeminars
