Can This Tiny Tablet Replace a Roll of Paper Towels?

What looks like a tiny white tablet turns into a surprisingly large 23-by-12-inch towel when you add water! But expanding is only the beginning—I wanted to know whether one of these compressed towels could actually handle real household jobs and possibly help reduce the number of paper towels we use. Raluca used one for washing dishes throughout the day, and it was still in good condition afterward. In this video, I show you how quickly one expands, how large it becomes, and some of the different ways these compact towels could be useful around the house. Because they take up so little room, they could also be useful for camping, traveling, emergency kits, glove compartments, backpacks, cleaning up spills, and anywhere you may suddenly need a cloth. Would you reuse one of these, or would you still consider it disposable?
