Description
Mother storks sometimes throw their babies out of the nest. but it's not because they hate them.
When a mother stork realizes that she doesn’t have enough resources to feed all her babies, she might get rid of one or two. Often she chooses the weakest ones. Such behavior is common in many animals.
Even lions are not an exception. When a new male lion takes over a pride, he often kills the cubs of the previous leader. It has been well reported that male lions have no interest in raising another lion’s offspring, so they eliminate them to ensure their own genes are passed on.
