WHEN THE FIRES FADE — We Were Kings (Vikings) | NORDVAR (Official Music Video)

**WHEN THE FIRES FADE — We Were Kings** The fires burned. The ships sailed. Their voices carried across the sea. They carved their stories into iron, wood and stone. They crossed oceans, built homes, fought, loved, celebrated and died beneath the northern sky. And then time took everything. **When the Fires Fade** is a Viking folk-rock lament about glory, memory and the fate shared by every civilization — no matter how powerful we become, one day all that remains are the traces we leave behind. *When the fires fade Who will remember our names? When the night remains And it all slips away…* This NORDVAR interpretation combines Nordic folk, dark cinematic atmosphere, powerful female vocals, ancient percussion, bowed strings, electric guitar and choir with a full cinematic Viking video. The song was originally written for **RAGNAROCK**. This NORDVAR version reimagines it through a darker, more emotional Nordic folk sound. Was it worth all the fire? Was it worth all the pain? Perhaps being remembered was never the point. Perhaps the fire mattered because, for a moment, we were alive... NORDVAR #darknordic • #vikingmusic • #nordicrock #Nordvar
