The Most Dangerous Man In America: Daniel Ellsberg And The Pentagon Files | FULL DOC | SLICE WHO

In 1971, Daniel Ellsberg was a Pentagon insider and former Vietnam War strategist when he made a decision that would transform American politics. Convinced that successive administrations had misled the public about the war, he leaked 7,000 pages of classified documents known as the Pentagon Papers to The New York Times. His actions triggered a confrontation involving the press, President Richard Nixon and the Supreme Court. Ellsberg’s extraordinary change of heart turned him from government insider into one of America’s most famous whistleblowers, while the political fallout helped set the stage for Watergate and Nixon’s resignation.
