Interstellar’s Untold Story: Cooper and Dr. Brand Colonizing Edmunds' Planet

We created a plausible continuation of what may have happened after Cooper says goodbye to Murphy and leaves Cooper Station, flying a Ranger toward Edmunds’ Planet to find Dr. Brand (Amelia). Plan A worked, but between Dr. Brand and Cooper on Edmunds’ Planet and humanity on Cooper Station, all the way to the distant future where the tesseract is built in Gargantua, a lot happened. The moment of their reunion is a shock to her, since she believed she was the only survivor. But many challenges still remain. With no fuel to return and no way to communicate through the wormhole, Cooper and Dr. Brand may remain alone and isolated for many years. With the help of CASE and TARS, they will build a base and carry out Plan B, as envisioned by Professor Brand. We created this story by considering plausible physical aspects and staying faithful to the canonical screenplay of Interstellar. The ultimate goal is to answer the questions: What happened to Dr. Brand and Cooper? Does humanity find them, or does it follow another independent path, splitting humans into different generations? How is it possible to colonize Edmunds’ Planet? How did humanity evolve to the point of having enough technology to create the Tesseract? Edmunds’ Planet is far enough from the black hole Gargantua, and it has breathable air, water, and essential elements for life. But that does not mean the journey will be easy. Many existential questions must be decided among the main protagonists of what is one of the best films by Christopher Nolan and in the history of cinema.
