He Found Out 42 Years Later She Cheated Before Their Wedding

After 42 years of marriage, John Garrison discovers a devastating secret: his wife Loretta had an affair with his own cousin just weeks before they were married. Feeling as though his entire life was built on a lie, John demands damages and asks the court to dissolve their marriage. Loretta admits the affair but argues it happened before they were married, insisting she has been faithful ever since and that John is seeking revenge not justice. The Judge sympathizes with John's heartbreak but delivers a reality check. Since the affair occurred before the marriage, it cannot be treated as marital adultery. The Judge dismisses John's case but encourages the couple to confront the deeper wounds in their marriage and consider whether 42 years of love and family can survive one painful secret.
