The Complete Apocalypse Story To Fall Asleep To

Settle in for a long, slow journey through the life of En Sabah Nur, the ancient mutant known as Apocalypse. This is the complete comic book story of the X-Men's oldest enemy, told calmly from beginning to end. It starts with an abandoned child in the Egyptian desert five thousand years ago and follows him through the court of a pharaoh from the future, the lost island of Okkara, Victorian London, the Four Horsemen, the Age of Apocalypse, the Twelve, the nation of Krakoa, the tournament of X of Swords and the red world of Arakko, all the way to the choosing of his heir. The narration follows the main Marvel Comics continuity. Alternate timelines and possible futures, including the Age of Apocalypse, Cable's far future and the Age of Revelation, are clearly marked as such when they come up. You don't need to follow every name. If you drift off partway through, the thread will still be there when you come back. #XMen #Marvel #comiclore #sleep
