"Recognize His Goodness, Respond With Gratitude" : What should our response be when we realize how wonderfully God has worked in our lives? In this powerful Christian devotional based on 2 Samuel 7:18 (NLT), we explore the humility, gratitude, and worship of King David as he reflects on God's extraordinary goodness and promises. From a humble shepherd to the king of Israel, David’s journey reminds us that every blessing is an opportunity to recognize God's faithfulness. Despite his success and position, David approached the Lord with a humble heart, amazed by the grace he had received. This Bible verse devotional encourages us to remember where God has brought us from, appreciate His blessings, trust His promises, and give Him the glory in every season of life. When we experience success, answered prayers, or new opportunities, may we never forget the One who faithfully guides our steps. 2 Samuel 7:18 NLT: "Then King David went in and sat before the Lord and prayed, Who am I, O Sovereign Lord, and what is my family, that you have brought me this far?"
