The Sámi: Keeping an Ancient Reindeer-Herding Culture Alive | SLICE | FULL DOCUMENTARY

In the far north of Scandinavia, Jon, a Sámi reindeer herder and craftsman, follows the rhythms of a land his people have called home for thousands of years. Through seasonal migrations, ancestral knowledge and the art passed down by his father, he keeps a living tradition alive. But modern life comes at a price. As technology transforms reindeer herding and the landscape itself is reshaped, Jon faces a delicate balance between preserving his people's heritage and adapting to an uncertain future. This is an intimate portrait of a man, a community and a culture deeply rooted in the land.
