The Ghost of the Underworld — Ravi Pujari's Full Story | 2D Animation

This documentary tells the complete, fact-based story of Ravi Pujari — a school dropout from coastal Karnataka who became one of India's most feared extortionist gangsters, terrorizing Bollywood stars, builders, and politicians from thousands of miles away. We trace his rise under Chhota Rajan, his betrayal that nearly got his own mentor killed, his two-decade run across multiple countries using fake identities, his elaborate karate and bouncer extortion modules in Mumbai, and the painstaking international investigation — down to a reflection in a pair of glasses — that finally led to his arrest in Senegal in 2019. Key Topics Covered in This Video: Ravi Pujari's early life in Karnataka and rise in Mumbai's underworld His alliance with Chhota Rajan and the 1993 blasts fallout How he betrayed Chhota Rajan's location to D-Company His extortion calls to Bollywood's biggest stars The karate module and bouncer-informant network in Mumbai His double life as "Anthony Gonsalves," restaurant owner in Senegal The forensic breakthrough that confirmed his identity His 2019 arrest, extradition battle, and 2020 return to India Why This Story Matters: Ravi Pujari's story shows how modern technology and international borders can extend a criminal's reach far beyond what was once possible — a man calling from Senegal could still make Mumbai's biggest names tremble. It's also a story about the patience of modern investigation: it took forensic analysis of a reflection in a stranger's glasses to finally confirm a fugitive's identity after two decades. His story is a reminder that no disguise, however elaborate, lasts forever.
