The Don Who Hunted Gulshan Kumar's Killer — Bablu Srivastava Story | 2D Animation

This documentary tells the complete, fact-based story of Om Prakash Srivastav, alias Bablu Srivastav — a Ghazipur student wrongly implicated in a campus brawl who went on to become India's most feared kidnapping kingpin. We trace his rise through Lucknow's gang wars, his alliance with Dawood Ibrahim's D-Company, the 1998 kidnapping attempt on businessman Gautam Adani, his break from Dawood after the 1993 Bombay blasts, his brutal revenge for the murder of Gulshan Kumar, and his three-decade imprisonment in Bareilly jail — during which he allegedly ran a covert operation against ISI-linked networks in Nepal. This is a story of how one wrongful arrest set off one of India's most consequential criminal careers. Key Topics Covered in This Video: Bablu Srivastav's early life and the wrongful arrest that changed everything His rise through Lucknow's gang wars and the birth of the "Bablu Model" of kidnapping His alliance with Dawood Ibrahim and D-Company's kidnapping operations The 1998 kidnapping attempt on Gautam Adani in Ahmedabad His break from Dawood after the 1993 Bombay bomb blasts The murder of Gulshan Kumar and Bablu's brutal revenge on the shooter His 25+ years in Bareilly jail and alleged operations against ISI networks in Nepal His autobiography "Adhoora Khwaab" and his ongoing plea for release Why This Story Matters: Bablu Srivastav's story is a study in how a single wrongful arrest can permanently alter the course of a life — and how far that path can go once it begins. He built one of India's most organized kidnapping networks, allied with and then turned against the country's most wanted don, and, according to investigations abroad, kept fighting a shadow war from behind bars for decades. His own words — that the path into crime is wide, but there is no way back out — remain a stark warning wrapped inside one of Indian crime history's strangest and most contradictory careers.
