11 Army Surplus Must-Buy Survival Items To STOCKPILE Before Anyone Else Does

My books are on sale now 📖 Do or Die, and the set of three. Grab them here: https://doughaskett.com At the end of September 2026, a North Texas city handed out about 1,500 free sandbags and ran out in under 2 hours, under a National Weather Service flood watch. 12 inches of rushing water carries away most cars, and 2 feet carries away a truck. Real military surplus is offered to the military for 14 days and to other agencies for 21 more before a store can buy it, and on October 1, 8 of 10 listings for the Gore-Tex bivy cover were out of stock. Doug paid $15 for 25 empty sandbags and $70 for two used water cans. Three things on the surplus shelf he leaves right where they sit. Subscribe to the channel: @doughaskett In this video, we talk about 11 army surplus items to have before the next storm run, including empty sandbags bought before the flood watch, the 5-gallon military water can and the fuel can that looks just like it, the used steel jerry can with rust inside, the folding entrenching tool that rides in the truck, the GI cot with a pad on top, the wet weather poncho and its liner, the waterproof clothing bag and the light test, the Gore-Tex bivy cover worth waiting for under $60, the lensatic compass and the date inside its cover, the angle-head flashlight against a $20 headlamp, and the stainless mess kit. 🔔 Subscribe so the next list reaches you before the next flood watch does. 💬 Comment where you're watching from and how many of your surplus buys failed the headlamp test. 📢 Send this to the person who'd be standing in the sand line, on Facebook, Reddit or the family group chat.
