There’s a Place Prepared for Me | Where the Savior Waits

There’s a place prepared for me Where the Savior waits, a Southern Gospel Quartet, old-time gospel, traditional gospel music, Christian country music, and songs about Heaven come together in There’s a Place Prepared for Me, an original Brother Golston song about the promise of Heaven, Jesus Christ, and continuing the journey knowing that home is waiting. Some roads feel longer than we expected. We grow tired. We carry burdens. We walk through valleys, difficult seasons, loss, and uncertainty. But Jesus gave His followers a promise: He has gone before us to prepare a place. That promise changes the way we walk through this life. There is a home beyond the struggle. There is rest beyond the journey. There is a day when sorrow and darkness will be gone, and faith will finally become sight. “There’s a place prepared for me Where the Savior waits.” This Southern Gospel quartet song is for everyone who has walked a long road but still believes the journey is leading somewhere. Keep walking. The road is not the destination. Home is waiting. 🎙️ Southern Gospel Quartet 🌅 Songs About Heaven 🕊️ Christian Hope & Eternal Life ⛪ Old-Time Gospel Music 🙏 Faith Through the Journey ✝️ Jesus Christ 🏡 Our Heavenly Home 🎶 Revival Country Gospel CHAPTERS 0:00 Intro – There’s a Place Prepared for Me 0:13 Verse 1 – I’ve Walked These Roads 0:49 Quartet Answer – Welcome Guest 0:56 Chorus – Where the Savior Waits 1:29 Verse 2 – This World Has Been a Journey 2:05 Quartet Answer – Already Waiting There 2:12 Chorus – Beyond the Glory Gates 2:45 Bridge – He Has Gone to Make It Ready 3:05 Final Chorus – There’s a Place Prepared for Me LYRICS [Verse 1] I’ve walked these roads with weary feet I’ve felt the weight of days But Jesus spoke a promise That will never pass away He said He’s gone before me To prepare a place of rest And when my work is over I will be His welcome guest [Quartet Answer] I will be His welcome guest [Chorus] There’s a place prepared for me Where the Savior waits There’s a place prepared for me Beyond the glory gates No more sorrow, no more night Just His face for me to see I can keep on walking There’s a place prepared for me [Verse 2] This world has been a journey Full of valleys and of hills I’ve held onto His mercy Through the fire and the chill Now my heart is growing lighter As I feel the time draw near For the home I have been promised Is already waiting there [Quartet Answer] Is already waiting there [Chorus] There’s a place prepared for me Where the Savior waits There’s a place prepared for me Beyond the glory gates No more sorrow, no more night Just His face for me to see I can keep on walking There’s a place prepared for me [Bridge] He has gone to make it ready He has spoken and it’s done I don’t have to fear the morning When He calls His children home [Final Chorus] There’s a place prepared for me Where the Savior waits There’s a place prepared for me Beyond the glory gates No more sorrow, no more night Just His face for me to see I can keep on walking There’s a place prepared for me [Tag] There’s a place prepared for me… Where the Savior waits If this song brought someone to your heart, tell us their first name in the comments.
