El Güero Palma: The Tragedy That Changed the Sinaloa Cartel Forever

The rise and fall of Héctor Palma Salazar, better known as El Güero Palma, one of the most powerful and feared figures in the early history of the Sinaloa Cartel and one of El Chapo Guzmán’s closest associates. What started with a young man from a poor family in Sinaloa stealing cars eventually turned into something much bigger. El Güero Palma became one of Mexico’s most influential drug traffickers, surrounded by armed men, powerful connections, luxury ranches, expensive cars, private airplanes and a reputation that made him one of the biggest names in the criminal world. In this video, I go deep into his story, from his early days under Miguel Ángel Félix Gallardo his relationship with El Chapo Guzmán, El Mayo and El Azul, to the collapse of the Guadalajara Cartel, the war against the Arellano Félix brothers, the betrayal of Rafael Clavel, the brutal tragedy of his wife and children, and the bloody revenge that followed. I also share details and anecdotes that almost nobody talks about: what El Güero Palma was like in person, his habits, his passion for horses and airplanes, his luxurious lifestyle, the corridos written about him, his connections inside the Mexican government, and what allegedly happened behind the scenes during his years alongside El Chapo inside Puente Grande prison. But perhaps the most tragic part of his story is how a man who once had enormous power, money and influence lost his entire family, survived a deadly plane crash, and eventually spent more than three decades behind bars while the criminal empire he helped build continued without him. This is the story of El Güero Palma. Music: Tension Mode - Soundrisemusic
