Description
Manuel Torres Félix, better known as El M1, 14 and El Ondeado, was never the most famous man of the Sinaloa Cartel. But few men inspired as much fear or commanded as much respect.
A ranchero from Cosalá, a gunman, and one of El Mayo Zambada’s most trusted men, Manuel built his reputation far from the spotlight. He loved horses, corridos and life on his ranch. But behind that quiet image was a man who commanded more than a hundred gunmen and became one of the key armed figures during one of the bloodiest wars in Sinaloa. Then, in 2008, they killed his son Tachío. And everything changed.
In this documentary, I tell the complete story of El M1: how he entered the organization through his brother Javier Torres Félix, why El Mayo trusted him so deeply, the origin of his different nicknames, his obsession with horses, his legendary days without sleep, the strange story of the men he detained and then forgot about for four days, and the parties where Chapo Guzmán, El Mayo and Dámaso López reportedly stood up to welcome him.
I also go deep into the moment that transformed his life: the murder of his son, the war against the Beltrán Leyva faction and Los Charritos, his alliance with Cholo Iván, the origin of the nickname El Ondeado, the stories surrounding his weapons, his famous photographs, the dagger he treasured as a trophy, and the violent reputation that followed him until the end.
This is the complete story of El M1.
