Scotland’s Most Hated Gangster Martin Hamilton & Gary Moore

Scotland’s Most Hated Gangster: Martin Hamilton & Gary Moore explores the dark histories of two of the most volatile and feared figures in Scottish gangland history. In this deep-dive documentary, we look at the terrifying rise and execution of Martin Hamilton—the notorious "Blackhill Butcher." Renowned for his brutal witness intimidation, Hamilton managed to walk free from 10 separate High Court trials before his terrifying operation was brought down in a high-security courtroom 200 miles away in Inverness. But street justice eventually caught up with him, ending with a grim discovery in a remote West Lothian forest. Next, we uncover the story of Gary Moore, a cold-blooded gangland enforcer for Glasgow godfather Arthur Thompson. From the horrors of the 1984 Glasgow Ice Cream Wars to his ultimate conviction for the fatal potato knife stabbing of underworld royalty James "Jamer" Boyle, Moore was a volatile force who terrorized the streets of Scotland. Discover the unfiltered true stories of the enforcers who ruled Glasgow and Edinburgh through absolute fear.
