Description

In this video, I show how I found and repaired an underground water line leak on the main water service entering my house. After locating the leaking pipe, I dig up the pipe, remove the damaged section, and install a new pipe to restore the water supply. The main water shut-off valve was originally housed in a homemade wooden valve box. While it worked for years, it's time for an upgrade. I'll be replacing it (in a future video) with a durable plastic water valve box that's designed to be buried underground, providing better protection and easier access for future maintenance. I'm glad I found and fixed this hidden water leak before it turned into a much bigger problem. Repairs like this can help prevent water loss, reduce the risk of property damage, and improve the reliability of your home's water service. If you're interested in plumbing repairs, water line replacement, hands-on projects, or DIY home maintenance, this video walks through the entire process from finding the leak to completing the repair. 👍 If you found this video helpful, please Like, Subscribe, and leave a comment with your questions or your own repair experiences! #WaterLineLeak #UndergroundWaterLeak #PlumbingRepair #WaterServiceLine #MainWaterValve #PipeRepair #DIYPlumbing #Excavation #HomeMaintenance #WaterValveBox /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// Welcome to Everyday Projects — my little channel of curiosity, chaos, and creativity.
