Description

The Gold Claim Book: https://thegoldclaimbook.com Most prospectors have a bucket somewhere with concentrate they never got around to finishing, and there is a good chance real gold is still sitting in it. Every trip ends with a rush to pack up, so the last cleanup gets pushed to another day that never comes. In this video I show you how to go back to that bucket and get what’s in it: how to check what you have before you start, how to break it down in stages so you don’t wash fine gold away in a hurry, how to pull off the magnetite and the heavy junk, and how to finish it in a pan so the gold shows itself at the bottom. I also explain how to store concentrate between trips so it stays clean and nothing goes missing, how to label your buckets so you know which creek each one came from, and how to decide quickly whether an old batch is worth the afternoon. I’m honest about the limits too: some concentrate holds very little, and a bucket you rushed through the first time may have been poor to begin with. But if you’ve been carrying it around for months, it costs you nothing to find out. Go and look in that bucket.
