SUMMER FIRE — Eldrinn Vaknar | Nordic × Slavic Folk Music | NORDVAR × TEMPO NOVA

Ancient Nordic voices meet the wild spirit of Slavic folk in a song about summer nights, dancing beneath the stars, sparks rising into the sky and gathering together around the fire. Eldrinn lifir. Sumar lifir. Hjartat slær. The fire lives. Summer lives. The heart beats. This song is something a little different for NORDVAR. We gave this project to TEMPO NOVA and allowed them to bring a modern pulse into the world of NORDVAR — while keeping its folk instruments, ancient voices and Nordic-Slavic soul alive. The result is NORDVAR × TEMPO NOVA. Should these worlds meet again? If you enjoy this more rhythmic side of our music, let us know in the comments. Future experiments combining ancient Nordic and Slavic folk with a modern heartbeat may continue through TEMPO NOVA.
