the 49 Murderous Brides #history #art

Fifty sisters married fifty brothers on the same day—but before the night began, their father handed each bride a sharp dagger. His ruthless command: slaughter your husbands while they sleep. Forty-nine sisters obeyed the horrifying order, with only one showing mercy. For their dark crimes, the gods dragged them straight to Tartarus, cursing them with an impossible task: carry heavy jars of water to fill a cracked basin that constantly leaks. Trapped in a loop of endless labor, their punishment will never, ever end. 🎨 The Danaïdes (The Daughters of Danaus) #GreekMythology #Storytime #MythologyExplained #DarkMythology #Shorts #HistoryShorts #ViralShorts
