Check out our Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/033Gp5RjshSXsqVOrRESIt In this video, we break down the darkest Breaking Bad episode that never aired, a storyline so twisted Vince Gilligan confessed it never even made it out of the writing room. On the Breaking Bad Insider podcast, he revealed an alternate season one that would have turned Walter White into a Jigsaw-level killer right out of the gate. We walk through the entire lost episode. The original plan to kill Jesse Pinkman off at the end of season one, and the unhinged cartel boss written specifically to murder him in a deal gone wrong. Walt's descent into pure revenge, chloroforming the kingpin and dragging him into his own basement. The horrifying tripwire shotgun trap and the illusion of choice Walt offers him. The daily 4 PM amputations, worked from the toes up, as Walt cracks under his own experiment. And the gut-wrenching ending, where Walt Jr. stumbles downstairs to help a bleeding stranger, and the dying kingpin realizes exactly whose son is standing in front of him. We also cover why it was scrapped, and how Aaron Paul's performance accidentally saved the entire show. Would you have watched this version?
