Greatest Fights of the Most Dangerous Predators | FULL EPISODE | Nature Animal Documentary follows the lion, the African rock python, the cheetah and the gray wolf through some of the greatest fights in the animal kingdom, from the granite kopjes of the northern Serengeti and the plains of the Maasai Mara to the snowbound forests of the Yukon and Wood Buffalo National Park in northern Canada. In the wild, strength on its own counts for very little. No one can hold on to what matters most alone. Through cinematic footage and educational storytelling, this documentary shows why the most dangerous predators win and lose together. On a Serengeti kopje, a nursery of lionesses closes ranks against an African rock python sliding toward their cubs, the way researchers found that tight groups of mothers protect cubs far better than any lioness alone, and that lionesses can even count the roars of rival strangers. In the Maasai Mara, where only a few dozen adult cheetahs remain, a coalition of male cheetahs moves in on a wildebeest bull left behind by the herd, and each brother lifts his head in turn to watch the horizon while the others eat. What follows is the part most wildlife films never show. Beneath the snow at Kluane in the southwest Yukon, a great gray owl and an ermine hunt the same red backed vole and both go hungry, because neither hunts with the other. In Wood Buffalo, home to the largest free roaming bison herd on Earth, a wolf pack tests the herd again and again and strikes only when it breaks and runs, and the bison that falls is the one cut off from the others. On the cliffs above, Dall sheep survive only by staying close to the rock and close to one another. Lionesses on the rock, cheetah brothers, wolves in the snow: those who stand together, survive. Epic Moments in This Documentary: Lion cubs pressed together in a crevice of a Serengeti kopje Lionesses standing shoulder to shoulder against an African rock python A wildebeest bull drifting behind the herd on the dry Mara plains A coalition of cheetah brothers closing in on both flanks of the bull A great gray owl plunging into deep snow after a vole it can only hear A wolf pack testing a wall of wood bison at the edge of the forest One bison falling behind in deep snow as the herd splits in two Dall sheep ewes racing for the cliffs where the hunters cannot follow #natureanimaldocumentary #ourplanet #wildlifedocumentary #natgeo #planetearth #lions #wolves #wildverse
