Description

If you are past sixty five there is a real chance you paid a bill this month that the law does not require you to pay, and you paid it last month, and every month before that. That money is gone. There is no notice coming and no refund waiting, because the offices collecting it have no legal duty to tell you that you stopped owing it the day you turned sixty five. In this video I go through six of them. The jury summons you can be permanently excused from and the box on the back nobody turns over. The trash fee on your county bill that most counties will waive but will not backdate. The vehicle inspection your car may have aged out of years ago. The registration on a second car you no longer drive. The part of your Medicare premium some plans pay back. And the last one, which is worth roughly two thousand dollars a year and has a queue in front of it, because almost every senior has heard one income figure for the program that pays their Part B premium and never learns there are two more levels above it. This is education, not financial, legal, or medical advice.
