Description
What happens when Kanha and his friends discover a mysterious dark stone that can make an iron bell move *without even touching it*? 😱🧲
One day in Vrindavan, Kanha, Radha, Sudama and Madhumangal are playing together when Madhumangal finds a strange dark stone.
At first, it looks completely ordinary.
But then...
🔔 *TING!*
A small iron bell lying nearby suddenly moves toward it.
Madhumangal freezes.
He did not touch the bell.
Kanha did not touch the bell.
So how did it move?!
Madhumangal immediately decides:
*“This must be a magical stone!”*
But Kanha has another idea.
Instead of guessing, they decide to investigate.
And that begins a fun new STEM challenge:
## 🧲 *“WILL IT ATTRACT... OR NOT?”*
Before every experiment, children watching can make their own prediction.
Will the mysterious stone pull the object toward itself?
Or will nothing happen?
Guess first...
Then test with Kanha!
---
## 🧠 STEM LEARNING THROUGH PREDICTION
Instead of immediately telling children the answer, Kanha uses a simple science process:
### *Predict → Test → Observe → Compare → Understand*
Children get a chance to think:
👉 Will the leaf move?
👉 Will the wooden stick move?
👉 What about the iron bell?
👉 Does size matter?
👉 Does weight matter?
👉 Why do some objects respond while others stay still?
This turns the video into an interactive *magnet experiment for kids*, rather than just a story.
## 🌟 WHAT CHILDREN LEARN
This animated STEM story introduces young learners to:
🧲 Magnets
🔔 Magnetic attraction
🪵 Magnetic vs non-magnetic materials
👀 Observation
🤔 Prediction
🧪 Simple science experiments
💡 Problem-solving
🔍 Comparing materials
🧠 Changing an idea after seeing evidence
✨ Forces that can act without direct contact
Children also discover an important fact:
## *Not everything sticks to a magnet.*
In Kanha’s experiment:
### ATTRACTED:
🔔 Iron bell
⭕ Iron ring
🧲 Other tested iron objects
### NOT ATTRACTED:
🪶 Peacock feather
🍃 Leaf
🪵 Wood
🌸 Flower
🪨 Ordinary stone
🏺 Clay
---
## ❌ A MAGNET DOES NOT ATTRACT EVERYTHING
One important idea in this story is that magnets should not be treated like magical objects that pull everything toward themselves.
They attract certain magnetic materials.
That is why the iron bell responds...
while the feather, leaf, flower and wood remain still.
This distinction helps young children build a more accurate early understanding of magnetism.
---
## 🎯 FINAL MAGNET CHALLENGE
At the end of the investigation, Kanha mixes different objects together.
Some are magnetic.
Some are not.
Then he asks:
## *“Can we collect the iron objects without picking them up one by one?”*
Kanha moves the magnet close to the objects.
### TING!
### TIK!
### TING!
The iron objects move toward the magnet.
The feather, leaf, flower, wood, ordinary stone and clay stay behind.
Now even Madhumangal understands:
*Not every small thing is attracted.*
*Not every light thing is attracted.*
*The material matters.*
---
## 👨👩👧👦 TRY A SAFE MAGNET GAME AT HOME
Parents or teachers can continue the learning with a simple supervised activity.
Using a child-safe magnet, choose a few safe everyday objects.
Before testing each one, ask:
### *“Will the magnet attract it?”*
Let the child predict first.
Then test.
You might compare safe examples made from:
- paper
- wood
- fabric
- some iron or steel objects
Ask:
👉 Which objects moved?
👉 Which stayed still?
👉 Were all small things attracted?
👉 Were all materials attracted?
👉 Can the magnet affect an object without touching it?
Use age-appropriate magnets and objects with adult supervision. Keep small magnets and small metal objects away from young children who may put them in their mouths.
