Description

Check your receipt. That is what more Walmart shoppers in this video say they have started doing after finding prices and charges they didn't expect. A shopper says a roughly $5 pizza rang up around $8. Another says an $11 swimsuit appeared as $22 at checkout. One woman found a $47.88 “store merch” charge she says she never purchased — and Walmart reportedly refunded more than $50 after reviewing the transaction. Then there are the clothing tags, package weights and even clearance labels. In this episode of Everyday Perspective, host Kayla looks at what these experiences do to something basic every retailer depends on: pricing trust. If this has happened to you, tell me exactly what you found and whether the store corrected it.
