OLDER THAN OUR NAMES | Ethereal Nordic Folk & Old Norse | NORDVAR

OLDER THAN OUR NAMES is a slow, warm Nordic folk song about a world that existed long before we divided it with borders, walls and names. The mountains did not know our kingdoms. The rivers did not know our borders. The wolf did not know our maps. The earth simply was. Earthy bowed strings and ancient folk textures carry intimate English verses into wide, ethereal Old Norse voices — as though the forest itself begins to answer. “The pines will still be whispering When we are no longer here.” NORDVAR Music inspired by nature, old ways, Nordic tradition and the things we have forgotten. #NordicFolk #OldNorse #Nordvar
