This Spinning Wheel Pans Gold While You Sit There — And It Never Misses a Flake

The Gold Claim Book: https://thegoldclaimbook.com Panning is slow, tiring work, and the fine gold is usually the first thing to slip away when your hands get tired. There is a machine that does the panning for you: a spinning wheel that turns, washes and settles your material automatically while you sit and feed it. In this video I explain how the spinning pan wheel works, why the constant motion and the water flow let it hold on to fine flakes that a worn-out panner would lose, and how to set one up so it runs properly. I also cover how much material it can process compared with a hand pan, what it costs to buy one or build your own, and where it falls short, because no machine recovers everything and I'd rather tell you that now. If you spend whole days at the creek and your shoulders feel it, this might change how you work.
