SLOW DOWN | NORDVAR

SLOW DOWN — an emotional Nordic folk song about time, life, and learning to be present while the people and moments we love are still here. Days pass. Years pass. Children grow. Summers fade. The sun goes down. And still, we spend so much of our lives waiting for tomorrow. SLOW DOWN is a reminder to stop for a moment. Watch the sunset. Feel the water. Listen to the wind. Hold the people you love. Because the ordinary moments we barely notice today may one day become the moments we miss the most. At the heart of the song is the Old Norse refrain: “Vertu hér...” — Be here. “Dagarnir líða...” — The days pass. “Árin líða...” — The years pass. “Bǫrnin vaxa...” — The children grow. “Tíminn líðr...” — Time passes. The song blends Old Norse-inspired lyrics, ethereal female vocals, tagelharpa, Nordic folk atmosphere and the sound of nature into a meditation on something very simple: You cannot slow down time. But you can slow down yourself. So wherever you are today... Slow down. Look around. Be here. NORDVAR Ancient echoes. Northern soul. #NordicFolk #OldNorse #NordicMusic #SlowDown #NORDVAR
