Description

Every diagram of the Solar System you have ever seen is lying to you. Not a little. Catastrophically. The eight planets fit within 30 astronomical units of the Sun, but the Sun's gravitational domain may extend to 200,000 astronomical units, more than a thousand times farther than Voyager 1 has ever traveled. This documentary dismantles the familiar classroom model piece by piece and rebuilds the Solar System at its true, terrifying scale, from Neptune's sunless winds to the Kuiper Belt's thousands of icy worlds, from the heliosphere's invisible bubble to the Oort Cloud's trillion frozen ghosts drifting in total darkness nearly two light-years from the Sun. Along the way, we follow the Voyager spacecraft on a journey that will take 30,000 years to complete, explore the Planet Nine hypothesis, and confront a question with no clean answer: where does the Solar System actually end?
