Description

👉 THE COMPLETE GUIDE → https://docfederer.com/after-60 The page from the video + the full eye chapter (the exam to ask for by name, the questions for your doctor, the weeks after a new floater) 👁️ THE TRICK I MENTIONED IN THE VIDEO — "The Reading Glide" For a floater that keeps landing right on the line you're reading: 1. Don't stop in the middle of the line. Finish the line first — your eye is at the edge of the page and the floater moves out of the way more easily. 2. Make the glide smaller: look to the TOP EDGE of the page, then to the BOTTOM EDGE, then land at the start of the next line. No need to look all the way up to the ceiling while you read. 3. Hold the page a little below eye level, and put the lamp over the shoulder of the hand that holds the book. 4. Lower the brightness behind the letters: a cream or off-white page, or "sepia" / "paper" mode on your e-reader instead of bright white. Less light behind the floater = a fainter shadow. Do it once, at the end of the line, and read on. If you catch yourself doing it every line, move the lamp first. ⚠️ CALL AN EYE DOCTOR TODAY — same day — if you notice: • a sudden shower of NEW floaters (like pepper or a swarm of dots) • flashes of light, especially at the side or in the dark • a shadow or curtain coming in from the edge of your vision Say "new floaters and flashes" on the phone. If you can't reach anyone, go to the emergency room. A small tear caught early can usually be sealed with a laser in minutes. In this video, honestly: in two nights no floater dissolves — no drop, pill or fruit can do that. What you CAN do in two nights is find out if yours are the dangerous kind, and make the harmless ones stop running your day. 00:00 Floaters — and the honest answer to "is it safe?" 02:52 What a floater really is (it's a shadow) 06:13 The safety check: 3 warning signs + the 1-minute door test 08:44 The two nights: the light, then the glide 12:29 Pineapple, drops, water, pills — what the evidence says 14:17 The one-page Clear Sight Protocol 16:47 Margaret, 11 p.m. on a Tuesday 18:44 Tonight, in five steps This video is educational and does not replace an eye exam. If you have diabetes, are very nearsighted, or had cataract surgery, follow the same-day rule even more strictly. #floaters #eyefloaters #eyehealth #over60 #drfederer
