Priest Rushes to Baptize 1.25 Pound Baby | A Powerful Lesson on Emergency Baptism #catholicfaith

A priest rushed to the hospital to baptize little Maria, an ultra premature baby who weighed only 570 grams, about 1.25 pounds. Father Davi de Melo was deeply moved by the experience. He later explained why emergency Baptism is so important when a child is in serious danger. The Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches that in a case of necessity, even a person who is not baptized can administer Baptism if they intend to do what the Church does and use the Trinitarian formula: In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Little Maria is recovering. Please join us in praying for Maria, her parents, and everyone caring for her. May God protect this precious child and fill her life with hope.
