The Eucharist Stopped a Tsunami? | The Miracle of Tumaco 1906 🌊✝️

On January 31, 1906, a massive earthquake struck Colombia and triggered a devastating tsunami that threatened the island town of Tumaco. As a wall of water approached, the people gathered with two priests and turned to God in prayer. According to the Catholic tradition surrounding the event, Father Gerardo Larrondo raised the Blessed Sacrament and made the Sign of the Cross toward the approaching waves. The water reportedly lost its destructive force, and Tumaco was spared from the devastation the people feared. The event became known as the Miracle of Tumaco or Miracle of the Wave and was later included in Blessed Carlo Acutis’ collection of reported Eucharistic miracles. 🌊 When fear rises, turn to Christ. ✝️ Jesus, I trust in You. #️⃣ Hashtags #EucharisticMiracle #MiracleOfTumaco #Catholic #Jesus #HolyEucharist #BlessedSacrament #CarloAcutis #CatholicMiracles #ChristianFaith #CatholicFaith #JesusChrist #Eucharist #Bible #Faith #God #Shorts #YouTubeShorts #ChristianShorts
