Description

🔗 Get a beautiful perennial garden with less watering, fewer costly mistake from Henry’s Garden Blueprint: https://henrysgardensecrets.com/ A month ago I put out a list of nine perennials I regret planting. Nobody argued. What people did instead was send me their own. So here are fourteen more, and this list is harder than the first one, because I checked every claim against the people who publish the research instead of the people who publish the videos. Four of these are milder than the internet says, and I say which. Three of them are native American plants that have no business being called invasive, and I say that out loud. Four are the wrong job for August entirely - and I tell you which month they actually want, so you don't waste a Saturday. One of them is the thing you have been treating with lawn weed killer for years. That weed killer does not touch it, and a state extension service says so in writing. And one plant on this list I take off the list, using a quote from the land-grant extension service that recommends planting it. Number one has creeping roots and carrot-shaped storage roots a foot down and eevery broken piece becomes a new plant. It is the only one of the fourteen with a real sale restriction anywhere in this country. TELL ME WHERE YOU GARDEN Which number is growing at your place? Drop it in the comments with your US state next to it. I read every one. Half this list is a serious problem in one part of the country and barely anything in another, and the map that builds in the comments is how I pick what to cover next. The first list happened because of it. SUBSCRIBE One video a week. What earns its place in an American yard, and what only looks like it will.
