Description

Zahi Hawass Reveals Why the Great Pyramid’s Sealed Door Could Change EVERYTHING In 1993, a robot no bigger than a shoebox crawled up a twenty-centimetre shaft inside the Great Pyramid of Giza. About sixty metres in, its lamp found a slab of polished white limestone with two copper pins set into its face. It was a door, sealed shut, at the top of a tunnel no human being could ever walk. Then, in November 2025, Zahi Hawass said his team had found another sealed door inside the pyramid, and promised the world would see behind it in 2026. However, that year is almost over.My name is Marcus Reed and today, we're following every sealed door ever found inside the Great Pyramid, and asking why anyone built them at all. Hawass made that promise on stage at the Sharjah International Book Fair. According to reports of the talk, thermal imaging, 3D mapping and muon scans had located a corridor about thirty metres long inside the pyramid of Khufu, and at the end of it, a door. What lies behind that door, he reportedly said, will rewrite a chapter in the history of the pharaohs.
