What They Found Inside the CHOLULA Pyramid Could CHANGE the World! The hill has been there for as long as anyone can remember. It rises gently above the city of San Andrés Cholula, in the Mexican state of Puebla, blanketed in grass and wild vegetation, crowned at its summit by a Catholic church whose white towers are visible for miles across the high plateau. Tourists photograph the church. Pilgrims climb the winding path to it. Local families spread blankets on its lower slopes in the afternoon light. On a clear day you can see the snow cap of Popocatépetl in the distance, and the hill sits in the foreground looking utterly unremarkable, just another feature of a landscape that has known human settlement for three thousand years. And almost none of those visitors realize they are standing on the largest pyramid ever built on Earth.
