10 Old Hunting Rifles in Grandpa's Closet Worth Thousands! (Never Sell These)

THE BARN FIND BIBLE, the maker marks, the stamps, the dating rules and the real sold prices, all in one place: https://barnfindbible.com/ Four rifles stood in the corner of a bedroom closet outside Winterset, Iowa this past April, behind a garment bag and a box of Christmas lights. The family had a note on the refrigerator offering three hundred and twenty five dollars for the whole corner. For three of them, that was about right. The fourth brought twenty two hundred, and the only difference was a few characters stamped in the steel that nobody in that house had ever bothered to read. I am not a gun man. I do not shoot, and I am not a specialist. Forty years clearing out houses across the Midwest taught me that the rifle in the closet is the most underpaid object in an American estate. Not because anybody is crooked. Because the family is frightened of it and wants it gone by Sunday, and a frightened seller takes the first number he is handed. So this one is not for gun people. It is for the widow in the doorway, the son holding a box he does not want, and the daughter who has never touched one. You do not need to know a thing about rifles. We read stampings and we read finish. SAFETY. Any gun you find in a house, you assume it is loaded. Do not look down the barrel. If you do not know how to check whether a gun is empty, do not touch it, and go get somebody who does. Everything in this video happens with the gun already made safe and lying flat on a bench. Every price here is a range from real sold results, and the big numbers are called out as the exceptions they are. Inherited guns carry transfer rules that are not the same in every state. I am not a lawyer. Go through a licensed dealer and check the law in your own state before anything leaves the house. Tell me in the comments what is in the closet, what name is on it, what the family always said about it, whose it was, and where you are watching from. I read every single one and I answer them. Otis
