A Tennessee Highway Patrol trooper stopped to help a stranded woman named Brandy after she suffered a flat tire. The trooper went above and beyond and actually changed the tire for her. The situation took a shocking turn when the trooper discovered that Brandy had an outstanding warrant. When the trooper told her she was going to jail, Brandy suddenly fled. The pursuit continued onto Interstate 40, where she reached 96 MPH while driving on a damaged wheel/rim, eventually resulting in a crash involving 2 other motorists. Brandy was later charged with felony evading and numerous additional offenses. She ultimately pleaded guilty to criminal impersonation and felony evading, with the remaining charges dismissed.
