The Forbidden Gods Roman Soldiers Worshipped in Secret

How Ancient Roman Soldiers Secretly Worshipped Banned Foreign Gods How did Roman soldiers actually practice religions Rome never approved of, while still swearing loyalty to the empire's official gods every single day? In this video we cover how Roman soldiers built entire hidden shrines and secret cult practices right inside their own forts, and never let it show up in Rome's official records, but in reality the officers commanding them knew about it too. The wild part is that some of these gods were literally banned by the Senate, the altars destroyed more than once, and soldiers still carried that worship across the whole empire anyway.
