DO YOU REMEMBER? | NORDVAR

DO YOU REMEMBER? What does the forest remember? What does the stone remember? What does the earth remember of our footsteps? And perhaps the greater question... Do we still remember the earth? DO YOU REMEMBER? is an ethereal Nordic folk journey through ancient forests, forgotten paths and the memory of the natural world. Haunting female vocals drift through layers of Old Norse-inspired poetry, distant chants, deep tagelharpa and hypnotic Nordic atmosphere. Hvat man skógr? Hvat man steinn? Hvat man jǫrð Um spor vár? Man þú enn? The earth remembers. When the forest grows silent And mist hides the way, The old world awakens Before break of day. Listen closely. Perhaps the old world never disappeared. Perhaps we simply stopped hearing it. Jǫrðin man... NORDVAR Music for those who still hear the wind, the forest, the rain and the old ways. #oldnorse #nordicmusic #NORDVAR
