Why Is Greensand So Expensive? Easy DIY Flask and Greensand

In preparation for my first attempt at melting and casting an iron ingot mold, I needed more sand and a larger flask. I turn leftover lumber, beach sand and some roadside angle iron into a new larger casting flask and a 100 pounds of greensand, Saving $700 vs buying it on amazon.
