He Was Trapped Under a Lioness, But This Ostrich Never Gave Up

A nine-foot-tall bird with no teeth, no armor, and hollow bones makes a decision that defies every law of self-preservation in the natural world. In the dry heart of the African savannah, an enormous male ostrich named Baraka faces six starving lionesses. He could run. He is faster than a racehorse. But twelve tiny chicks are hiding behind him, and they have no other chance to see tomorrow. This is the untold story of the ultimate sacrifice on the African savannah: a father's last stand, a mother's incredible broken-wing trick, and a community that came together to protect the next generation. In this story you will discover: How ostriches guard their nest for 40 days and nights How a vulture uses a stone to crack an egg Why an ostrich's kick can fight off a lion The broken-wing display, nature's ultimate deception How ostrich families form a crèche to protect their young If this story touched your heart, please LIKE 👍, SHARE this video with someone who loves nature, and SUBSCRIBE to The Secrets Of Animal Jungle for more cinematic wildlife stories. 🔔 💬 Tell us in the comments: do you think any other animal on Earth shows this level of parental sacrifice?
